Equally Damned Women of the Night

I?m trying to get the viewer to show empathy towards the damned which may parallel empathy towards homosexuals (the *everyday* damned). From far away it looks very provocative and sexual and sinful with that little naked devil woman smiling in the background. And this plays true towards homosexuals.. People only see sex and sin. And their mind gets cut off and they act as if they cannot relate or show empathy towards them. (just yesterday I listened to two boys, behind me in line getting tickets at a theater, talk about if they ever found out that one of their friends were gay or if one of their girlfriends or ex-girlfriends ?turned? gay, they would kill them. And then they explained in detail how they would kill them). But this is why the close up at the bottom is so important. You have to look close up at them to see that it?s not all about sex. Actually, close up.. I don?t see anything sexual about it at all. I think it becomes tragic close up. Another way that I want to explain the image is? some Christians think that homosexuals are under the ?Devil?s? influence. So I have the demon woman putting a spell of them. Is it really their fault? Is there really a fault at all?
